Falconhurst Winter Wine Evening
Please join us this Winter, for a special event at Falconhurst House on 13th December.
For the years' finale, we are excited to host a very special dinner in the beautiful surroundings of our family home.
Guests will be greeted in the main hall and drawing room with some canapes and a glass of fizz. We will then head into the dining room to enjoy a local and seasonal three course menu cooked by fantastic chef James Brun, who has hosted three superb supper clubs in The Barn.
During dinner, we will sample 7 exceptional wines chosen by Tim French; owner of Halo Wines, and previously the Head Buyer of Fortnum & Mason and Thorman Hunt. Tim will guide us through the wine tasting, introducing his hand-picked selection of French and Portuguese wines. For the white wine we will be doing a comparison between a delicious French burgundy and a Niepoort from Portugal made in a similar style. For the reds we will try an excellent wine from the Bourgogne and then go a level up to a fantastic Pomerol. To finish we have two fantastic ports on display.
A special case deal will be available on the night - ideal to stock up on some wonderful wines ahead of Christmas!
