A historic setting

Film & Photography

Within an hours’ reach of central London, Falconhurst lends itself to many film location and photoshoot possibilities. The estate includes the historic main house, and grounds that include pretty walled gardens, ruins, a shepherds’ hut, fruit cages, potting sheds, swimming pool, tennis court and mature trees.

Across the estate there are a variety of beautiful locations that include a church, cricket square and pavilion, pub, village hall, large Victorian Arts & Crafts home, small medieval timber framed house, farm buildings (both working and derelict), woodland and private lanes.

One of the most interesting buildings on the estate is Hole Cottage, the surviving wing of a medieval hall house, which is one of the first heritage buildings restored by The Landmark Trust. It is set deep in the woods, bordered by a deep stream and locally known as the 'Witchy House'. Quite magical.

We’ve had lots of shoots here over the years, from music videos and photoshoots to film. Most recently, the opening sequence of ‘The Undoing’ was shot in the main house and grounds. Previous client list includes Saatchi & Saatchi, Universal Music Group, Nick Knight's SHOWstudio, You magazine and Easy Living magazine. We are well versed with catering for large film crews – you will be well looked after!
