Avi Shashidhara

£60.00

Chef Avi Shashidhara is one of the most exciting voices in modern Indian cuisine in the UK today, and we’re delighted to welcome him to Falconhurst on the 24th & 25th April.

Blending his southern Indian heritage with classical European training, Avi brings a fresh, produce-led approach to Indian cooking that’s redefining the genre.

Born and raised in Bangalore, Avi grew up surrounded by the vibrant flavours of Indian home kitchens and a deep respect for seasonality. After training in hotel management and discovering French technique with the Oberoi Group, Avi moved to the UK, where his career took off in Michelin-starred kitchens including Claude Bosi’s Hibiscus and The River Café.

In 2020, Avi became Head Chef at Pahli Hill Bandra Bhai in London’s Fitzrovia, where his menus celebrated regional Indian dishes made with British seasonal ingredients. His refined yet soulful food captured the attention of diners, critics and TV audiences alike, culminating in a winning starter on BBC’s Great British Menu and regular appearances on Saturday Kitchen.

Today, Avi continues to shape the future of modern Indian cuisine through his creative, confident and ingredient-driven approach. We are beyond excited to have Avi hosting the first Supper Club of 2026

Avi is with us on the 24th & 25th April, serving a three course menu. Your ticket price includes a welcome cocktail, with wine, beer and non alcoholic drinks available from the bar.

The Friday sitting will be from 7pm-11pm (dinner served 8pm - 10.30pm) and then Saturday from 5pm-9.30pm (dinner served 6pm - 9.30pm).
