James Brun Supper Club

£60.00

On 23rd & 24th October, James Brun returns to Falconhurst with Grounded Table, his woodland dining project. Now back in his home county Norfolk, James is showcasing everything the British countryside has to offer with an emphasis on wild ingredients. The last four events James has hosted have been truly excellent, and we cannot wait for another evening with this excellent chef.

James started his career in London cooking at institutions such as Kricket, and then Fenn. He then spent a year in Japan cooking at various establishments. James’s curiosity of Japanese cuisine and produce continued when he came back to the UK as he worked at the critically acclaimed Namayasai farm in Sussex; a farm that has a focus on both British and Japanese produce.

Guests can expect a meal that nods to the culture and cuisine of Japan, but with a strong focus on what we are able to source and grow here in Kent. The menu will be made up from as much produce as possible from the estate, and from the surrounding area.

James Brun is here for two sittings: 7pm - 10.30pm on Friday 23rd and 5pm - 9pm on Saturday 24th October.
